Theology

​Theology is the study of God and religious beliefs. It involves the systematic and rational exploration of the nature of the divine, religious doctrines, and the impact of faith on human life and society. For Christians, theology is centred on understanding God as revealed in the Bible and through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Effective theology, in particular, emphasises the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, and the centrality of grace in salvation.
